Release of Prisoners of Conscience Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- The Family Movement for Realizing Democracy in south Korea reportedly held the 1152nd Thursday rally in Seoul on January 4 to demand the release of prisoners of conscience and repeal of the "Security Law".

Recalling that unjust regime was toppled and a new regime emerged last year, speakers there deplored that there are still prisoners of conscience.

Urging the court to acknowledge that the "Security Law" is problematic, they called on the public to struggle to get it repealed.

They expressed their will to carry on their struggle for the release of prisoners of conscience and the repeal of SL.
