Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- A French political party and a Nepalese figure bitterly slammed another "sanctions resolution" cooked up by the U.S. at the UNSC. The Revolutionary Communist Party of France, in a solidarity message "We oppose the criminal resolution together with the DPRK and Korean people" made public on Dec. 26 last year, said: The UNSC "sanctions resolution" is an attempt to bring the Korean people to their knees, pursuant to the U.S. committing crimes against humanity. The UNSC submitted to the U.S., which is threatening other countries in breach of the UN resolutions and is the only country that used nuclear weapons in the world. "Nuclear threats" from the DPRK is a lie. Any country cannot force its demands down the throat of the DPRK, an independent state. The DPRK will never surrender. It is the U.S. that divided the Korean peninsula, ignited a war of aggression against the DPRK and continues committing moves hostile to it. We appeal to all peace-loving forces to intensify solidarity movement with the Korean people. Manju Ratna Sakya, chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association, made public the following statement on Dec. 27 last year: We strongly censure the U.S. for fabricating another "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK over its successful test-launch of ICBM Hwasong-15. We urge the U.S. to repeal its hostile policy towards the DPRK and immediately stop inhuman acts of ruining the life of the Korean people. We back the steps for self-defense being taken by the DPRK to protect its sovereignty and global peace. The DPRK is sure to win in the standoff with the U.S. |
