Trump has called for renegotiating or finalizing the FTA with south Korea since he was a presidential candidate, it noted, adding the renegotiations are shackling ones furthering the dependence of the south Korean economy.

The economic crisis causing restructuring and the destitution of the people's living are attributable to dependence, the editorial stressed, emphasizing that a key solution to it lies in independence.
