Myongsasipri, Scenic Spot on East Coast of Korea
Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Four-kilometer-long sandy beach resort, called Myongsasipri, is one of scenic spots on the east coast of Korea.

It is located on the southeast of the Kalma peninsula in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province.

There is a hill with the height of 100 meters above the sea level in the northward end of Myongsasipri.

Growing around the hill are pine trees, pine-nut trees and oak trees. There is goldenrain tree at the entrance of Myongsasipri. Sweet briers are growing on sandy beach.

Sweet briers blooming red on the sandy beach along the shore, green pines around it and waves of the East Sea add scenic beauty to Myongsasipri.

A rest home and modern high buildings built on the hill and the entrance of Myongsasipri add beauty to landscape.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said in his New Year address that this year the service personnel and people should join efforts to complete the construction of the Wonsan-Kalma coastal tourist area in the shortest period of time.
