Celebration meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows were held in Switzerland, Bulgaria, China, Nigeria, Benin, South Africa and Angola.

Displayed at the venues of the exhibitions were photos showing the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee said:

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il provided a strong foundation for building a powerful socialist country with his unique Songun politics.

Under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un the Korean army and people could achieve astonishing successes in bolstering up the defence capability and peace and security on the Korean Peninsula could be reliably defended.

Comrade Kim Jong Suk is the most faithful comrade-in-arms and comrade of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, a woman commander of Mt Paektu who safeguarded him at the risk of her life and mother of the revolution who brought up Generalissimo Kim Jong Il as the great successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Speakers at the events held in Nigeria and Benin praised the exploits of Kim Jong Il who demonstrated the might of the DPRK to the whole world with his Songun revolutionary leadership.

The chairman of the Mfumalanga Provincial Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of South Africa said that the single-minded unity in the DPRK where the leader and the people are united as one cannot be found in anywhere of the world.

Several personages of Angola stressed that only victory and glory would be in store for the Korean people dynamically advancing toward the final victory, closely united around their leader.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Switzerland.
