The Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism said in a statement that last year was a significant one when the DPRK demonstrated its prestige as a powerful country of Juche to the world. It went on:

The power of socialist Korea struck terror into the hearts of the enemies.

The world progressive peoples are convinced that the victory of the DPRK, a power independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence, will last forever.

We hope that the DPRK will further display its dignity as a power of Juche to be admired by the world by carrying out the militant tasks set forth by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

The Dnepropetrovsk Branch of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a statement:

The reality of the DPRK tells that only when applying the Juche idea in a thoroughgoing way, can socialism emerge victorious without fail.

The imperialists should acknowledge the DPRK as a responsible nuclear power.

We extend full support to the Korean people in their struggle to reunify the country, build a powerful socialist nation and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche.

We sincerely hope that the Korean people will greet the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK with bigger successes.
