Those poems include "We Have Adopted the Decision of the Party Cell" and "The People of the Powerful Country, Forward!"

Poets of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea created dozens of poems with strong appeal reflecting the spirit of the times at the construction and production sites.

Poets of the South and North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Union visited the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine, the Sinuiju Textile Mill and other production units to post up their short poems at the working sites encouraging the workers to a great upsurge in production.

Some poets called at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Chollima Steel Complex, the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, the Chongsan Co-op Farm and other industrial establishments and farms to produce militant and optimistic poems.
