Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- Foreign personages issued statements between Jan. 3 and 5 in support of the New Year Address of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

L. Shukolinikov, chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, said that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address reflected his steadfast will to accomplish the building of a powerful socialist country and the cause of national reunification as early as possible under the banner of the Juche idea.

The address referred to the praiseworthy achievements made by the Korean people in the face of the sanctions-and-blockade moves of the imperialists, the chairman noted.

Through its successes last year, the DPRK strikingly displayed the validity of the line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear forces, the chairman said, extending heartfelt congratulations to the Korean people advancing with confidence under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, firmly united around Kim Jong Un.

Heinrich Gruber, member of the leadership of the Vienna, 21 County Committee of the Communist Party of Austria, said:

In his New Year Address HE Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of the Korean people, clarified in his New Year Address the ways for the independent reunification of Korea.

To prevent the danger of war and safeguard the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula is a fundamental condition for its reunification.

We are convinced that the DPRK will boost the solidarity with the world peace-loving people opposing aggression, war, domination and subordination and further expand and develop the friendly ties with them.

Manju Ratna Sakya, chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association, condemned the U.S. for persisting in the hostile policy towards the DPRK while watching for a chance of war of aggression, contrary to the desire of the Korean people to live in peace.
