Officials of the Foreign Ministry including Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho were on hand.

Ri Yong Ho in his speech noted that the Korean people have turned out in a drive to achieve the victory in the socialist cause and make a breakthrough for the independent reunification this year. And he emphasized the foreign policy stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government.

Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Viet Hung in a speech thanked the DPRK Foreign Ministry for hosting the reception on behalf of the diplomatic corps and wished the Korean people and the world people peace, prosperity and happiness.
