The first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation praised Kim Jong Un, who has creditably carried forward the cause of the preceding leaders, for firmly protecting the country's prestige and interests from the moves of the U.S. styling itself the "only superpower".

The secretary general of the Romania-Korea Friendship Association said that last year the Korean people laid an eternal foundation for ensuring peace and security of the Korean Peninsula by accomplishing the great, historic cause of perfecting the national nuclear forces and that all the successes made in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea would have been unthinkable without the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany and the chief of the Franken Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Germany said that the year 2017 was a proud year of victory when the Korean people made eye-opening development in the face of the hostile forces' sanctions and a year when the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK went bankrupt and that before long the world will clearly see how the DPRK becomes a powerful socialist country.

The chief of the Ethiopian Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and other speakers stressed that the New Year Address of Kim Jong Un brightly indicated the path for the Korean people and that Korea will surely be reunified in the near future when it does as indicated by him in his New Year Address.
