The battle site is associated with the exploits of President Kim Il Sung for national liberation.

When the respected Supreme Leader visited it on Jan. 22 Juche 103 (2014), he said the revolutionary battle sites are eternal treasures of the Korean revolution, which can't be bartered for anything.

Many service personnel, working people and youth and students of at least 2,300 units visited the battle site in the past four years.
