"Liberal Korea Party" Coteries' Act of Going against Trend of Times Flailed

Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- The south Korean conservatives including the "Liberal Korea Party" are now talking about sort of "lobbying" and "intention of provocation behind the sports exchanges" over the participation of the DPRK in the coming Winter Olympics and the dispatch of a cheering group and an art troupe, claiming that this may undermine the international cooperation for "sanctions on the north". They are also touting hoarse that "Olympics is a tribute offered to the north" and the "Olympics should not be a ground for political promotion of the north," getting perverse over the mounting enthusiasm of the south Korean public over the news of the north-south technical talks for the dispatch of art troupe.

A commentary of Rodong Sinmun Monday says this proves that the coteries of the "Liberal Korea Party" are a group of hideous traitors only concerned for escalating confrontation with the fellow countrymen and meeting their greed for power, being indifferent to the desire and wish of the nation.

Needless to say, the flurry of invectives uttered by the conservative forces are aimed to chill the atmosphere for the improvement of the north-south relations.

It is clear that there can neither be the successful Olympics nor the improvement of the north-south ties and the peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula should the "Liberal Korea Party" coteries be allowed to go on challenging the nation's enthusiasm for reunification in their moves to tide over the extreme political crisis and prolong their remaining days.
