Minju Joson Derides Panic-Stricken U.S.

Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson Tuesday derides the deplorable situation of the U.S. which is now on jitters, being seized by "fear of the north's missiles." A ballistic missile threat warning was released throughout Hawaii, U.S. by a mistake recently. As soon as the message was delivered to smart phones of citizens and tourists to the effect that "a ballistic missile is on its way to Hawaii, Evacuate immediately. It is not training", the whole island was thrown into utter confusion. A few days later, the citizens in Michigan, U.S. experienced the same horror as what those on Hawaii did. It is none other than the U.S. which is trembling with fear, stricken by extreme horror and pressure even by a single message and by a flash in the sky, the commentary says, and goes on: The mindset of the panic-stricken Americans is that the higher the level of confrontation with the DPRK, the world-level nuclear power and a rocket power, the higher the level of disaster to be inflicted upon them. They are now unanimous in their opinion that the only way-out is to avoid confrontation with the DPRK. The U.S. should no longer shun the situation. Its "pressure" on the DPRK will never work and the reckless stand-off will only lead the U.S. to destruction. The U.S. had better find a way-out of its miserable situation caused by its hostile policy toward the DPRK, not clinging to the confrontation policy that invites disasters only. |
