Japan Hit for Joining in Naval Blockade against DPRK
Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- Ships of the Japan Maritime "Self-Defense Force" have zealously taken part in the maritime patrol in the open sea near to the Korean Peninsula since the end of last year. Their main task is reportedly to prevent "illicit activities" of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the West and East Seas of Korea.

This is a grave provocation as Japan is actively joining in the U.S. moves for sanctions and blockade to aggravate the situation on the peninsula, Minju Joson Wednesday says in a commentary.

It goes on:

Japan volunteered to perform the duty of "alert" and "surveillance" in the waters off the Korean Peninsula, with a sinister intention.

It is the calculation of the Japanese reactionaries to extend the radius of the MSDF's operation as well as its high maneuverability and improve the military control capability in the region in order to provide the conditions favorable for overseas aggression.

Hence, Japan seeks to justify its naval activities aiming at overseas aggression by positively taking advantage of the U.S. economic sanctions against the DPRK.

This clearly shows that the confrontation hysteria and scheme for overseas aggression by the Japanese reactionaries, obsessed by hostility toward the DPRK, have reached the very dangerous phase.

Japan's maritime patrol foretells the disasters to be entailed.

Japan would be well advised to bear in mind that its wild ambition for overseas invasion is a pipedream.
