Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Bangladesh

| Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A Bangladeshi preparatory committee for celebrating leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 16. MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events such as seminar praising Kim Jong Il's feats for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence. |
