A vice general secretary of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee set a celebration period from Jan. 16 to Feb. 18 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events praising the exploits of Kim Jong Il and conduct brisk activities introducing the proud successes made by the Korean army and people under the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
