Struggle against Conservatives' Reckless Deeds in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Various circles of south Korea are intensifying the struggle against the reckless acts of the conservative group chilling the climate of mending the north-south relations.

They branded as a heinous traitor Ra Kyong Won of the "Liberal Korea Party" who submitted to the International Olympic Committee a document opposing the formation of inter-Korean unified team. And they staged a signature campaign to demand her dismissal from membership of the organizing committee of the Winter Olympics.

The signature campaign, which started on Jan. 20, was joined by more than 230 000 people as of Jan. 24.

The Seoul citizens' committee for welcoming the Pyongchang-Peace Olympics, which consists of 56 civilian organizations, held a news conference near the office of Ra Kyong Won on Jan. 24 to criticize her crime.

On the same day the Solidarity for the People's Sovereignty launched a campaign outside the Namdaemun police station in Seoul to denounce Jo Won Jin, representative of the "Korean Patriotic Party", and other conservatives who burned the DPRK flag and the Korean Peninsula flag while daring to insult the dignity of the DPRK supreme leadership.
