Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on January 19. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nationalist Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from January 19 to February 17 and decided to organize political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il in the period. |
