Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Pakistan

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A Pakistani national preparatory committee for celebrating leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Karachi on Jan. 19. K.U. Rehman, senator of Pakistan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize various political and cultural functions in praise of Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits. |
