Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man and vice-chairpersons of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, and chairpersons of the Chongryon headquarters and chapters across Japan and officials of the Chongryon headquarters in Kanto.

Ho Jong Man said in his report that the officials of Chongryon should stage an all-out organized movement for the 24th Chongryon Congress with main stress put on the chapter work.

The chapter chairpersons of Chongryon should cherish deep in their mind the main ideas contained in Kim Jong Un's New Year Address and New Year message and carry them into practice without condition, he said.

Noting that the respected Supreme Leader set it as the general orientation of Chongryon's struggle for this year to make a decisive breakthrough in the work for developing the movement of Koreans in Japan into a higher stage with the 24th Chongryon Congress as an occasion, the reporter stressed that all the Chongryon officials should turn out as one to carry out this task.
