Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism on Jan. 21. Wadim Kuzimin, director of the Institute, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events such as seminar on feats of Kim Jong Il in the run-up to the anniversary. |
