Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- A Romanian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 20. Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from Jan. 20 to Feb. 18 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il and the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in the period. |
