The theme of the festival is "Kimjongilia in full bloom all over Juche Korea demonstrating its honor as a great power".

Now, it is going on to decorate the inner part of the festival venue artistically and formatively as required by the theme.

According to an official concerned, the enthusiasm to participate in the festival grows evermore stronger, as this year marks the 30th anniversary of the naming of the immortal flower Kimjongilia.

In recent years, successes have been made in the scientific research into Kimjongilia cultivation and introduced into Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia greenhouses across the country, thus making it possible to display many more potted Kimjongilias at the festival, the official said, and went on:

The Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ponghwa Guidance Bureau and other units reconstructed their Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia greenhouses to meet scientific and technological needs and applied advanced methods to Kimjongilia cultivation.

The preparation for the festival also gains momentum in every province.
