Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the peerlessly great men's feats for the founding and strengthening of the KPA through media and hold colorful political and cultural events.
