S. Korean Students Criticizes Media's Misinformation

Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The preparatory committee of the Students' Progressive Federation of south Korea reportedly held a press conference outside the building of the newspaper Chosun Ilbo on Jan. 31, where they criticized it for reporting false information of the DPRK.

Speakers there censured the newspaper for malignantly slandering the north side's step over the participation in the Winter Olympics.

Recalling Chosun Ilbo's false report that south Korean students in their 20s and 30s are staging a relay demonstration against the north, they accused conservative media of disturbing the repair of the inter-Korean relations.

They urged it to stop such libel and make an apology immediately.
