Extending his heartfelt congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the friendly men and officers of the Korean People's Army on the occasion of Feb. 8, its 70th birthday, Bashar Al-Assad in the message wished him bigger success and the Korean people progress and powerfulness.

The message expressed the belief that the joint efforts by the leadership of the two countries would contribute to strengthening the cooperative relations between the two countries in conformity with the wellbeing and interests of the friendly two peoples.
