Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Guinea

| Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- A Guinean preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Conakry on Jan. 25. Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from Feb. 1 to April 15 and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events in the period. |
