Minju Joson Slams Confrontational Rhetoric of S. Korean Defense Minister
Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- South Korean Defence Minister Song Yong Mu at a multi-party security meeting in Singapore said if the north uses nuclear weapons against south Korea and the U.S., the north regime will be erased off a map and that it is anachronistic for the north to use nuclear weapons for unification.

A commentary of Minju Joson Tuesday says that Song Yong Mu is an imbecile enraging the whole nation by reeling off confrontational rhetoric.

The nuclear weapons of the DPRK are the absolute symbol for safeguarding peace and achieving national prosperity as they defend the sovereignty of the country, the right to existence of the nation and the peace and security on the Korean peninsula and the region, the commentary notes, and goes on:

Had we not had access to the nuclear deterrence for self-defence, the war deterrence, the Korean peninsula would have been erased off a map and would have turned into ruins long ago due to the U.S. reckless nuclear blackmail and threat decade after decade, century after century targeting the extermination of the Korean nation.

The confrontational remarks uttered by Song are senseless ones of a colonial stooge serving the U.S. and ridiculous rhetoric of a bete noire unaware of where he has to stand.

Song should control his tongue, if he does not want to face a wretched fate, bearing in mind that sycophancy toward the U.S. and confrontation with the fellow countrymen would bring ruin only.
