Seen on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries were wreaths from respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were senior party and government officials Pak Kwang Ho, Kim Phyong Hae, Thae Jong Su, O Su Yong, An Jong Su, Ro Tu Chol, Choe Pu Il, Ri Man Gon, Kim Su Gil, Jong Kyong Thaek and No Kwang Chol and officials of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, men and officers of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF) and working people in Pyongyang.

The participants laid bouquets before the bust of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and observed a moment's silence in memory of her.

Placed on the wreath-laying stands of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri were wreaths in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee, the DPRK State Affairs Commission, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK and on the wreath-laying stand of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery a wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the DPRK State Affairs Commission.

Also laid there were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the KPISF, institutions of science, education, literature and arts, public health and media and party and power bodies, enterprises, farms, etc. in Pyongyang.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs.

They went round the cemeteries.
