U.S. Urged to Abandon War Scenario

Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and other civic and social organizations in south Korea reportedly held a press conference in Seoul on February 5 to urge the U.S. administration to give up the "bloody nose operation" plan for preemptive attack on the DPRK.

They stressed that the U.S. should stop imposing sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK, give up south Korea-U.S. joint military maneuvers and come to DPRK-U.S. dialogue without preconditions.
