Among those paintings dealing with the exploits of the President for the founding of the Korean People's Army are works showing his big efforts made to solve the issue of training military and political cadres conductive to the building of modern regular armed forces.

An oil painting "Founding of the Korean People's Army" dealing with the service personnel and people breaking into enthusiastic cheers, looking up to the legendary hero on the tribune of honor of the first military parade of the KPA, gives an epic depiction of the profound thanks of all the Korean people to Kim Il Sung who accomplished the historic, great cause of founding the regular revolutionary armed forces.
