Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Libya

| Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- A Libyan preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 29. The chairperson of the Libya－DPRK Friendship Association was elected chairperson of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including seminar and film show in praise of the immortal feats of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on those anniversaries. |
