Such documentary films as "Shining Star of Paektu" and "Shine, Jong Il Peak" dealing with the revolutionary life of Kim Jong Il will be shown at cinemas and halls of culture in Pyongyang and local areas.

Also screened will be feature films showing the ideological and moral qualities of the Korean army and people and their struggle.

Present at the ceremony were officials concerned, creators and artistes in the field of film art and working people in Pyongyang.

At end of the ceremony, the participants watched "Life of Love for People", Part 1 of the documentary film "General Kim Jong Il, Peerless Patriot".

Week of film show opened in provinces, too, on the same day.
