The expedition arrived at the battle site on Feb. 6.

Its members visited the Samjiyon Grand Monument to place a floral basket and bunches of flowers at the statue of President Kim Il Sung and pay tribute to him.

Being briefed on the fact that the site was built into an excellent center for education in the revolutionary traditions, they looked round the grand monument.

In front of the statue of leader Kim Jong Il in Samjiyon County, they vowed to build an invincible powerful socialist country true to the patriotic desire of the great leaders for a powerful and prosperous country.

They also went round Samthogong log cabin, where Kim Jong Il stayed overnight together with the expedition members in June Juche 45 (1956) when he paved the way for the study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

They toured other places of Samjiyon County Town. And they worked together with shock brigade members participating in the project to spruce up Samjiyon County and handed them aid supplies.

On February 8 they visited the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station No. 1.
