Birthdays of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to Be Marked in Russia

Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- The Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on Feb. 5 formed a preparatory committee to celebrate the 106th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the 76th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

First Secretary Alexandr Gromov was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee set a celebration period from Feb. 5 to April 16 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events such as seminar and film show in praise of the great revolutionary careers and undying feats of the great leaders in the period.
