Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in France

| Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A French preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Paris on Feb. 5. Benoit Quennedey, president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural events in praise the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
