Sin Kum Song has made a great contribution to giving wide publicity to the greatness of the Workers' Party of Korea at home and abroad and the might of a single-hearted unity of Juche Korea and dynamically encouraging the Party members and other working people to the efforts for carrying out the behests of the great leaders and upholding the Party's policies by displaying boundless loyalty to the Party and the leader and high creative enthusiasm.

A relevant decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was published on February 9.
