Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Regional Social Organization of Russia "Borozino" on Feb. 6. Salinikov, chairman of the organization, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold various political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. |
