Minju Joson on U.S. "Bloody Nose Operation"
Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- Now under discussion in the U.S. political camp is what it called "bloody nose operation" targeting the limited preemptive attack on the strategic objects of the DPRK, says Minju Joson Wednesday in a commentary.

Recently heard from the members of the National Security Council of White House are remarks that Trump is seriously examining the "bloody nose operation" and that the limited attack on the DPRK can be helpful for Trump in the off-year election. On other hand, the appointment of the U.S. ambassador-designate to south Korea was withdrawn for the mere reason that he opposed the hard-line military option, the commentary notes, and goes on:

This proves that the U.S. "bloody nose operation" is nothing but last-ditch efforts of the Trump group driven into a tight corner due to the defeat in the DPRK-U.S. stand-off.

The U.S. "bloody nose operation" is a deliberate provocation to divert the present trend of the situation on the Korean peninsula created through proactive measures and efforts of the DPRK to confrontation and war.

Trump's plan for preemptive attack on the DPRK will have no impact on the DPRK, a world-level military power, and will only result in the U.S. destruction.

The commentary warns that the Trump group should bear in mind that the start of the "bloody nose operation" will end up in the suicidal operation which will lead to the end of the U.S. mainland.
