Minju Joson Condemns Japan's Moves to Become Military Power

Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- Japanese Prime Minister Abe at the recent full-dress session of the House of Representatives, in reference to the introduction of long-range cruise missile capable of attacking enemy bases, said "it does not stand to reason to assert that the missile is the weapon whose possession is not allowed under constitution". Commenting on this, Minju Joson Sunday says his remarks smack of the militarist frenzy to arm the "Self-Defense Forces" with sophisticated war means and materialize the ambition for overseas expansion. Japan finds the way for overseas aggression in turning the country into a military power, the news analyst notes, and goes on: It is now about to completely disregard the "pacifist constitution" after its all-out push for emerging as a military power even by interpreting the constitution in its interests for the arms buildup, With the SDF ready to fight an aggression war against other countries, the Japanese reactionaries aim to ensure more active military advance of the forces and create conditions favorable for aggression wars. Japan is gnashing its teeth to avenge its defeat in the past war. It is clear that if it launches overseas aggression again, the whole world, to say nothing of the Asian countries, will meet horrible disaster. |
