Art Performance of Koreans in Japan Marks Birth Anniversary of Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, February 18 (KCNA) -- An art performance of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the 76th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was given at the Korean Hall of Culture in Tokyo of Japan on February 15.

Watching the performance were Chairman Ho Jong Man and vice-chairpersons Nam Sung U, Pae Ik Ju, Pae Jin Gu and Kang Chu Ryon of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon Hong In Hum, advisers and directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, leading officials of Chongryon organizations and business groups, chairpersons of the Chongryon headquarters in Kanto area and other Chongryon officials, compatriots and teaching staff and students of Korean University.

Taking part in the performance were artistes of the Kumgang-san Opera Troupe of Chongryon, women's union members and students of Korean University.

The number of the performance, which began with symphony orchestra "Patriotic Song", included chorus immortal revolutionary paean "Song of General Kim Jong Il" and Jangsaenap instrumental solo "Attraction and Reverence".

The performers well represented the world of deep yearnings of Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan for Kim Jong Il.

Female chorus "Voice of My Heart" and male chorus "We Are Mallima Riders" portrayed well the will of the Koreans in Japan to keep pace with the dynamic advance of the homeland, with boundless reverence for respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
