22nd Kimjongilia Festival under Way in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- The 22nd Kimjongilia Festival is going on with large attendance in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

Since its opening, tens of thousands of people have visited the venue of the festival on a daily average.

What draws many visitors in the festival is the stand of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries which depicts the flag of the Workers' Party of Korea with over 300 potted Kimjongilias, including 50-odd potted Kimjongilias presented by friendship and solidarity organizations and personages of different countries.

The Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan put on display 216 potted Kimjongilias representing Jongil Peak with the photo of leader Kim Jong Il on its centre.

The stand of Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country shows a large floral basket and Korean map made up with over 600 potted Kimjongilias including more than 80 potted Kimjongilias sent by overseas Koreans and former unconverted long-term prisoners, which instills into visitors the firm conviction that a reunified prospering power is sure to be built as they are led by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

And 200-odd potted Kimjongilias and 150 potted flowers on the stand of Kim Il Sung University assume the shape of a red flag wrapping around the globe to show the indomitable spirit of its teachers and students who strive to materialize Kim Jong Il's plan of turning the university into the world-class one.

Going round Kimjongilias in full bloom at the venue of the festival, visitors have keenly felt the great admiration for Kim Jong Il.
