Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo, said this at the inaugural ceremony of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea for Independence in DR Congo held in Kinshasa on Feb. 8.

They are pleased to see the emergence of one more Juche idea study group in DR Congo on the occasions of the 76th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il and the 70th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army, he said, adding:

Visiting the DPRK several times, I witnessed the indomitable Korean people vigorously advancing, thwarting the vicious anti-DPRK sanctions and pressure moves of the hostile forces by dint of self-reliance and self-development.

It is our bounden duty to intensify the study and dissemination of the Juche idea illumining the road ahead of the human cause of independence and extend firm support and solidarity to the Korean people in the struggle to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and socialism.
