Attending it were personages of the Society for the Study of Kim Jong Il's Works, the Juche Philosophy Study Committee, the Delhi State Government and University of Delhi in India, the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea and the International Institute of the Juche Idea (IIJI) and followers of the Juche idea.

Present on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to India and his embassy officials.

Harish Gupta, director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea who is vice-director general of the IIJI, made a keynote report at the seminar before speeches.

The reporter and speakers praised the ideo-theoretical feats of leader Kim Jong Il who developed in depth the Juche idea, founded by President Kim Il Sung, into the guiding idea in the era of independence.

They said that the reality of the DPRK, which is dynamically advancing towards a socialist power despite the ceaseless challenges and extreme sanctions and pressure of the imperialist allied forces, clearly proves the validity and vitality of the Juche idea.

Kim Jong Il's famous works including "On the Juche Idea" and "Socialism Is a Science" serve as priceless ideological and theoretical pabulum and an inspiring banner for the progressives advocating independence, they stressed.

They noted that he firmly defended socialism with the treasured sword of Songun in the period of unprecedented ordeals and put the DPRK on the position of a nuclear weapons state.

The DPRK is a beacon of hope giving great strength and courage to the progressive people aspiring after equality, emancipation, peace and justice, they stressed.

A letter to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
