It said:

The great Comrade Kim Il Sung founded the KPA, regular revolutionary armed forces, on Feb. 8, 1948.

Under his leadership the young KPA repelled the sudden invasion by the U.S. and won a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Today the KPA is reliably protecting socialist Korea, holding respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in high esteem as its Supreme Commander.
