The work, published on Jan. 3, Juche 81 (1992), clarifies that the historical lesson in building socialism calls for steadily building up the driving force of the revolution with strong conviction in socialism and correct guideline, holding fast to the socialist principles and strengthening the comradely unity and cooperation on the basis of independence.

It also clarifies the idea and validity that the general line of the Workers' Party of Korea for building socialism is to carry through the ideological, technical and cultural revolutions while strengthening the people's government and steadily enhancing its function and role.
