Present at the ceremony were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who doubles as chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, sportspersons and working people.

At the ceremony standings of teams that participated in the games were announced.

The Taesongsan Sports Team which came first in total points and the April 25 Sports Team which came first in the women's volleyball game grabbed rotating trophy cups.
