Flavio Pettinari, chief of the Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism Study Group in Fermo of Italy, noted that Kim Jong Il guided the DPRK to victory with his Songun politics.

Thanks to his Songun politics, the DPRK foiled the U.S. imperialists' ceaseless moves to stifle it and emerged a dignified nuclear weapons state, the chief said, stressing that his undying exploits for socialist construction and national reunification will shine forever.

Ali Garjooli, a writer and journalist of Algeria, said that the whole life of Kim Jong Il was for the country and its people, adding:
