Prime Minister Abe and his confidants at public appearances called for the need to "introduce long-range missile capable of removing threat from north Korea outside Japan proper on the principle of exclusive defence", noting that "there are in north Korea hundreds of missiles which have Japan proper within their firing ranges" and that "serious analysis is made of the north Korean missiles' capabilities of mounting nuclear warheads".

Minju Joson in a commentary Thursday describes this as an indication of the dirty intention to foster the atmosphere of extreme horror among the Japanese, imbue the Japanese society with the hostility toward the DPRK and create conditions favorable for realizing their sordid political and militarist ambitions.

Also lurking behind this is their black-hearted design to justify their frantic suppression of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and their hostile moves against the DPRK and calm down the international censure and denunciation, the commentary says, and goes on:

A chief culprit driving Japan proper into uneasiness and horror on purpose is the Abe group and the greatest victims are the Japanese.

The Abe group has to clearly face up to the strategic position of the DPRK and the trend of the times and stop the foolish act of inviting disaster.
