Serbian Figure Rejects False Propaganda of Western Media

Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Days ago, the Serbian newspaper Politika carried a travelogue of the DPRK written by Miroslav Lazanski, a lawmaker from the Serbian Progressive Party. He noted that a military parade was held in Pyongyang on Feb. 8, the 70th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army, and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made a speech at the event. Giving his impressions of the military parade, he wrote: Peace on the Korean Peninsula has been blocked by the U.S. The U.S. is to blame for the present crisis on the peninsula and north Korea's access to nukes is a product of the worn-out trick of the U.S. that caused a crisis and then took advantage of it. North Korea has maintained the stand that it will never first threaten others but develop on good terms the relations with all countries friendly toward it, but it will continue to bolster up its nuclear force guaranteeing the nation's sovereignty and security unless the U.S. nuclear threat is terminated. Meanwhile, Serbian media elaborated on the interview with Miroslav Lazanski under the titles of "Western media's assertions about north Korea are all phony" and "North Korea is entirely different from the West's propaganda". They quoted Miroslav Lazanski as saying: I had wrong understanding of north Korea until some days ago, being tricked by the systematic lies fed by the Western media. I witnessed the differing reality from the outset of the recent visit and felt the impulse to lay bare the false propaganda of the West. He also expressed his deep impressions over the great achievements the Korean people made in various fields by their own efforts despite all sorts of sanctions that the hostile forces have imposed for decades and over the DPRK's tremendous scientific and technological power and economic potentials. |
